The Last Warlord
These are the last days of Britain.
From the west come the Irish, fearsome and brave, seeking land and slaves. Under black banners they march and paint their shields with the blood of their victims.
From the north come the Picts. They are fearless and savage, swarming over the land like locusts, they steal and burn and when they are done, they return to the north with their captives and the heads of those who stood against them
From the east across the sea come the Saxons. An endless tide of foes come to claim a new home. They are an enemy without number or mercy who will destroy all before them, then claim it as their own.
Surrounded on all sides, the British kingdoms still squabble, raid and war among themselves. To survive the coming storm they must set aside their ancient hatreds and feuds or they will fall forever.
